KANSAS CITY

​Kansas City is the biggest city in the state of Missouri. In the year 2016, this city has an estimated population of 461,420. Kansas City is the most centrally positioned city in the Kansas City Metropolitan area. It was established as a Missouri river port in 1830s, and was officially incorporated in 1850. This Missouri metropolis sits on the western border of the state, and its downtown area is situated close to the meeting point of the Rivers Kansas and Missouri.  This makes it the 23rd biggest city in terms of total area in the US. Most of it lies in Jackson County, and it is one of the 2 seats of the County.

Climate
This Missouri city is situated in the Midwest portion of the United States, and is noted for being very near to the geographical center of the nation. It mostly experiences a humid sub-tropical climate. However, it sometimes has a humid continental climate. The summer season here is hot and humid, and is characterized with moist air floating from the Gulf of Mexico. The warmest month in Kansas is July, while the coldest month is January. Economy

While General Motors has set up its Fairfax assembly facility here too. Also, Sanofi–Aventis, one of the biggest drug manufacturing facilities in the United States, is located in the southern end of Kansas City MO. Moreover, many agriculture firms have extensive business operations in this Missouri metropolis. One of the most notable of these is the Dairy Farmers of America.

The main trade exchange for hard red wheat in the country is the Kansas City Board of Trade as well.

Culture
Kansas City is highly renowned for being one of the most cultured cities in the United States. Over the passage of time, this Missouri urban center has gained a wide variety of nicknames in this particular regard.  In the first place, it is fondly referred to as the ‘City of Fountains.’ This epithet originated from the numerous fountains present in Kansas City’s Kauffman Stadium. These fountains have the distinction of been the biggest privately constructed fountains in the entire globe. This city also has more boulevards than any city in the entire United States. Kansas City is famous for its steak and barbeque dishes. Together with Texas, North Carolina, Memphis and South Carolina, it is universally considered as one of the globe’s barbeque capitals. SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium
This is yet another top attraction that has both locals and visitors alike, stumbling over each other to experience its awesomeness. The SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium is at the moment home to over 5,000 sea creatures that are lodged in numerous ocean habitats. Kauffman Memorial Garden 
This is an exquisite and serene urban recreational garden, which is situated in downtown Kansas City. It comprises of open spaces, intimate enclaves and bronze sculptures. The enclaves are patterned after those that are prevalent in European public parks. While the sculptures are the work of Tom Corbin.  This urban recreational park can be the best place to take some steam off in the midst of the city, and is very popular with both the locals and visitors.
